CULTIVATION PRACTICES

Understanding the biological and ecological systems of farming — and the natural world as a whole — is key to cultivating cannabis that is aromatic, vigorous, and resilient. This philosophy is why our cannabis is sun-grown, why we embrace regenerative and organic farming practices, and why we provide individualized care to each plant.

For us, it’s vital to build a relationship not just with the cannabis itself, but with the ecosystems that sustain and nourish it — and us. On our farm, regenerative practices and individualized care manifest in the following ways:

  • Cannabis plants rooted in native soil, enriched with our own compost blends and locally sourced compost
  • Fertilizer made from fermented vegetation, including cannabis, gathered directly from the farm
  • Rows mulched with local hay, not plastic weed fabric, to reduce waste and enrich the soil
  • Uninterrupted borders of our fields left wild, providing habitat and food for native wildlife
  • Cover crops sown between rows to protect the soil from erosion and add organic matter
  • Minimal intervention: we trust the plants to bloom exactly as they should
  • Outdoor cannabis that thrives under the sun, with trunks strengthened by the wind and buds flush in terpenes
